The future of goalkeeper Lukas Zima (32 years old) is uncertain at FCSB. Having reached the third option in his position, the player is thinking of leaving this winter in the form of a loan until the summer, hoping to catch more minutes.

And Petrolul Ploiești, his former team, from which he transferred last winter to the Romanian champion, would be interested in bringing “Ilie Oană”, according to prosport.ro.

A year ago, Lukas Zima came to FCSB to be the backup for Ștefan Târnovanu. Now, after goalkeeper number 1 made a mistake and entered the sights of Gigi Becali, who kept threatening to change him, Zima hoped that he would take over the gloves and enter the first 11. Only, the same Gigi Becali, came with another proposal: the player who fulfills the U21 rule should be the goalkeeper!

Said and done, because the young Matei Popa (18 years old) was started in the last match, with Csikszereda, a 1-0 victory, and, according to the boss, he will continue to remain between the sticks until the end of the season.

Lukas Zima is in negotiations with Petrolul

Thus, after the tenure of Matei Popa, Lukas Zima became the third solution in his position and the chances of playing at FCSB are getting smaller.

In this context, he is interested in leaving the champions and finding a new commitment, even a loan until the summer, to play again.

According to GSP.ro information, negotiations have already started with Petrolul Ploiești, a team that would be interested in resolving the move in the coming weeks.

250,000 eurospaid Gigi Becali to Petrolul, in exchange for Zima, last year

In the summer, however, Zima could return to FCSB and even represent a solution, especially if option number 1, Ștefan Târnovanu, will catch a transfer abroad and leave the team.

In the current edition of the championship, Zima won four matches in the Superliga and two more in the Romanian Cup. In total, in the 6 appearances, he conceded 13 goals.
