A correction published by The Guardian newspaper has gone viral. “Should have gotten 0 stars”

“This movie's rating was corrected on February 2, 2026. A formatting issue caused the previous version to receive one star when it should have received zero,” is the change to a review by one of the reviewers The Guardian to the film “Melania”, a documentary about the First Lady of the United States.
Film journalist Xan Brooks saw the film in an empty cinema, “which appears to have been swept up especially for the occasion”. He detailed, ironically, several scenes from the film: trying on clothes, setting the table, preparing for the second appointment of Donald Trump as president, but also the lines that the First Lady of the USA has in the documentary.
“'As First Lady, children will always be my priority,' she murmurs sweetly, and you can almost see her luring them into her gingerbread house,” reports the British publication.
“Daunting, deadly and spectacularly unrevealing”
Brooks claims that “there's no doubt there's a great documentary that could be made about Melania Knauss,” an aspiring model from Slovenia who married a New York businessman, but it didn't happen.
He also adds that the film about Melania Trump can't be considered a documentary: “Melania moves through the film breathless, talking incessantly without saying anything, escorted from Mar-a-Lago to Trump Tower and then to the final destination: the White House.”
“It's disheartening, it's deadly and it's spectacularly unrevealing,” sums up the journalist.
“zero star” review
The British publication gives stars, from 1 to 5, depending on the quality of the film in the reviews they provide.
Initially, the film “Melania” received one star.
Then the reviewer came back: “This movie's rating was corrected on February 2, 2026. A formatting issue caused the previous version to receive one star when it should have received zero.”
