Rio Ave has confirmed the acquisition of Spanish striker Jalen Blesa (24 years old), arrived from Serie B, from Cesena. It was recently legitimized at University of Craiovabut he failed to impose himself.
Jalen Blesa was the player from Craiova between February 2024 and June 2025. During this time, he also played on loan at Dinamo Batumi. He ticked off only 4 games in the shirt of Olten, without scoring.
The club also announced that the player has signed a long-term contract, valid until 2030.

After leaving Craiova, Jalen Blesa went directly to Cesena. There, the Iberian player managed only 4 goals in the 21 Serie B matches in which he played in the current season. He also provided two assists.
He signed a contract with Rio Ave valid until 2030, and the transfer amount amounts to 1.7 million euros, according to the Portuguese from abola.pt.

Born in Spain in 2001, Blesa made his first steps in the youth sectors of CF Badalona and PB Anguera before moving in the summer of 2022 to FC Prishtina, a first division club in Kosovo, where he made 40 appearances and scored 14 goals in two seasons.
