FC Botosani wasted the biggest opportunity of the stage in the match played at home, the last of the 24th round of the Superliga, against those from Oțelul Galati. Zoran Mitrov missed incredibly from just a few yards under pressure from Enzo Lopez, hitting the crossbar, prompting an eloquent reaction from a surprised Sebastian Mailat with his hands in his head.
