A criminal case has been opened in the Krasnoyarsk Territory after a schoolgirl wounded another girl with a knife, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported.
According to preliminary data, on February 3, a 14-year-old girl had a conflict with a teacher at school No. 4. The police explained that after this, the 7th grader tried to attack the teacher with a knife, but wounded her peer with a knife.
“The victim was taken to the hospital, she received the necessary medical care, there is no threat to life,” the press service said. The police explained that she had already been released home.
Investigators are working at the scene. Currently, the girl has been detained, the necessary investigative actions are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident, as well as the reasons and conditions that contributed to the commission of the crime. Two criminal cases have already been initiated.
“A proper legal assessment will also be given to the actions (inaction) of officials of the educational institution to ensure security on the territory of the institution,” noted the investigative department of the RF IC.
