Mircea Lucescu is in the hospital again

The selector's problems started before New Year's Eve, which is why he did not go to see the Romanian teams in the training camp in Antalya, as happened last year.

Mircea Lucescu contracted a very strong flu at the beginning of the year and even though the problems seemed to be resolved, he was hospitalized again at the beginning of the week.

The selector went for a cardiological check-up on Monday, and the doctors decided to hospitalize him as he is not responding to antibiotic treatment, due to a low immune system. He will remain in hospital for at least three days.

In the next period, Lucescu is to be subjected to several thorough analyses, in order to see exactly what the problems are and to find the right treatment.
