According to new information on campaign financing revealed on Saturday evening, Donald Trump's election fund has increased significantly in the second half of 2025. It provides him with an unprecedented amount of money that a term-limited president can allocate to influence the midterm elections (every two years in November, Americans elect all 435 representatives of the US House of Representatives and 33-34 of 100 senators, i.e. one third of the US Senate, which together with the House of Representatives constitutes the US Congress) and further actions.
In the second half of last year, Trump collected $26 million. (over PLN 92 million at the current exchange rate) through a joint fundraising committee, and another USD 8 million. (over PLN 28 million) went directly to his political committee (Political Action Committee, PAC). The super PAC associated with him has over $300 million in its account. (PLN 1 billion 66 million).
In total, the network of campaign accounts, some of which Trump controls directly and others are managed by his close allies, has $375 million in its coffers. (PLN 1,333 million).
This funding far exceeds that of any politician — Republican or Democrat — in 2026 and is unprecedented in history. Trump could use them in the midterm elections this year or in future elections, even if he cannot run for president again.
Trump continues to outpace all other Republicans in fundraising, from both large and small donors. His joint fundraising committee — the Trump National Committee, which raises money for various Trump-linked groups — accounted for one in eight dollars in the second half of 2025, according to a POLITICO analysis. (PLN 3.56 to PLN 28.45) obtained on WinRed, the main Republican online fundraising platform.
No super PAC raised even half of the $289 million in 2025. (PLN 1,27 million) raised by MAGA Inc., a powerful committee linked to Trump, at whose fundraisers last year both the president and vice president JD Vance appeared.
Trump hasn't given much guidance on how he plans to use the funds. The Trump National Committee contributes mainly to his Never Surrender campaign committee and a small portion also to the Republican National Committee and Vance's Working For Ohio campaign committee.
Candidates cannot use money from political committees for their own electoral purposes. But they are common in Washington and have long been stigmatized by anti-policy funding groups as “financial resources for bribery” and allow politicians to give money to allies or finance political travel.
In the period from July to December, Never Surrender released 6 million 700 thousand. hole. (almost PLN 24 million), more than half of which was spent on advertising, digital consulting and direct correspondence – expenses usually associated with fundraising.
So far, Trump-linked groups have stayed quiet in the Republican primary. While he has endorsed several Republican officials currently in closely contested primaries — including Sen. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana and Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky — and threatened others, he has not used money to do so. The anti-Massie super PAC, MAGA KY, is run by Trump allies but largely funded by big GOP donor Paul Singer.

MAGA Inc.'s only expense related to last year's election was his support of incumbent Congressman Matt Van Epps in the special election in Tennessee's 7th Congressional District.
Trump's vast funds make him a political force independent of traditional party infrastructure. The Republican National Committee (RNC) — which gets much of its funding from Trump — had $95 million at the end of the year. (almost PLN 338 million) in the bank, which is about a quarter of what Trump-related groups have.
Their rivals from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) are in a much worse situation – they have just over $14 million. (almost PLN 50 million), and their debt amounts to over USD 17 million. (over PLN 60 million).
