Declassified documents in the case of American financier and criminal Jeffrey Epstein revealed correspondence with a woman from Krasnoyarsk. In her letters, she introduces herself as Irina and calls Krasnoyarsk her hometown.

Irina has been in active correspondence with Jeffrey since at least 2009. Judging by the reports, she herself spent time with Epstein, organized meetings for him with other young girls from Russia, and congratulated him on the holidays. The correspondence lasted until 2017.

In one of her letters dated December 9, 2009, she wrote: “I’m doing well, I’m going to film a story for one of the TV channels in Krasnoyarsk, the city where I’m from. It will be shown before the New Year. Just waiting for the operator to be free to do it. This, of course, is a small thing, but it’s still an experience for me. Jeffrey, myself and Katya, Henry's girlfriend, are going to Florida for Christmas from December 22nd to 28th. We would love to come visit you if possible.”

In total, Krasnoyarsk is mentioned twice in Epstein’s files. In addition to Irina, Jeffrey could be familiar with another Krasnoyarsk woman. The archives contain a letter from an unknown addressee inviting Epstein to meet an 18-year-old girl from Krasnoyarsk, whom the sender describes as very beautiful and speaking English well. It is not clear from the correspondence whether such a visit was organized.

Jeffrey Epstein is an American financier who has provided consultations to high-ranking officials. In 2008, he was convicted of organizing prostitution and sexual harassment, after which he was added to the US sex offender registry.

In July 2019, he was arrested on new federal child trafficking charges, and on August 10 of that year, he was found hanged in his prison cell. His case is related to the organization of a network that supplied minors to high-ranking officials. According to investigators, Epstein held parties on his private island with the participation of minors, as well as famous politicians, businessmen and celebrities.
