In 2025, the number of passengers with limited mobility receiving assistance on Krasnodar Railways increased by 14%

In 2025, 7,693 passengers with limited mobility received specialized assistance at Krasnoyarsk Railway stations. This is 14% more than in 2024.
The largest number of requests were received at the stations of Krasnoyarsk (4.8 thousand), Abakan (more than 1.5 thousand) and Achinsk (751). There were also requests for services from passengers with limited mobility in Bogotol, Mariinsk, Zaozerny and Kansk. Basically, assistance was required when boarding or disembarking from the carriage, escorting around the station and transporting luggage. If necessary, passengers were provided with a wheelchair or gurney for bedridden patients.
All applications for organizing free escort for such passengers at stations and en route are accepted at the Mobility Assistance Center, which operates 24 hours a day. This can be done on the Russian Railways website (in the subsection “Help at stations”) or by phone 8-800-775-00-00 (additional 1 in tone mode). The application must be submitted at least 24 hours before the upcoming trip.
It should be noted that at large stations of the Krasnoyarsk Mainline there is all the necessary infrastructure for a comfortable stay for passengers with limited mobility: ramps and lifts, ticket windows with a low counter, specialized sanitary rooms and rest rooms, signs with Braille, mnemonic diagrams, induction systems for transmitting sound signals to hearing aids.
A comfortable environment has also been created in cars with specialized compartments of long-distance trains of the Russian Railways holding company. In them, a passenger can move in a wheelchair: lifting seating devices are provided, the area of the vestibule area and passages is increased, wider doors are equipped, including to the sanitary room, and there are the necessary tactile signs.
