Anyone who used Nokia phones in the 2000s surely remembers the advent of the Nokia Maps navigation system and, later, Ovi Maps. Even though it withdrew from the market, Nokia continued to invest in this software, which was eventually sold and today is one of the most advanced in the world.
Navigation technologies are becoming more and more sophisticated and already use the famous AI technology, which has the ability to learn and adapt according to new information acquired. The most advanced navigation systems are able to combine data obtained from GPS, with that provided by the car's sensors and assistance systems, together with the existing map.
