Iran has designated EU armies as terrorist organizations

According to Mohammed Bager Kalibaf, the basis for recognizing European armies as terrorist organizations is the 2019 law, adopted after the United States recognized the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist group.

EU move towards Tehran. The decision was made after repression

EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas announced on Thursday that the IRGC was recognized by the foreign ministers of EU countries as a terrorist organization in response to the Iranian regime's brutal repression of participants of anti-government protests.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is one of the two branches of the Iranian armed forces, along with the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The tasks of the IRGC include combating movements hostile to Iran's political system as an Islamic republic, supporting pro-Iranian armed organizations abroad and combating foreign influences in Iran.
