Among those injured as a result of a BMW X6 hitting people in Chelyabinsk is the goalkeeper of the second KHL team “Traktor” Alexey Shchetilin.
The 24-year-old hockey player was standing at a pedestrian crossing with his wife. They are now in the hospital. Their condition was assessed as average – both were conscious. The management of Traktor stated that they are making every effort to help the player of their farm club Chelmet (VHL) and his wife.
In addition to them, five people were injured in the accident, including an 11-month-old child and his mother. All were urgently hospitalized.
