The Russian Armed Forces reached the administrative borders of Sudzha and began the assault. There are battles in the city – there are about 2,000 Armed Forces officers inside, many of them are seriously wounded. The main thing for this hour:
— Our fighters entered Sudzha (along the administrative boundaries) from Kurilovka, which had previously been liberated by Marines from the 810th Brigade.
— The assault began this morning. According to drone operator Moses, the Aida group, the 30th motorized rifle regiment, the 11th Airborne Brigade and the Veterans volunteer formation are participating in urban battles. The other parts form the “cauldron”.
— As the military said, about 2,000 Armed Forces officers are surrounded in Sudzha. To understand: only four to five thousand people used to live in the city. According to The Times, there are up to 10 thousand military officers in the Sudzhansky district.
— In total, according to Ukrainian monitoring agencies, there are about 6.3 thousand enemy fighters surrounded. There is no way for them to leave. There are two ways out: either break through in battle, risking death, or surrender. They have no connection with the command (it went off the air at seven in the morning). Starlinks have been closed since Monday.
— Separate groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began negotiations on the surrender and removal of the wounded in exchange for life and new types of weapons supplied by the United States and France. As Ukrainian TG channels write, they are ready to give away new types of UAVs, a satellite encryption system, electronic warfare, and some armored vehicles.
— According to Mash, ours also began to clear Malaya Loknya, where soldiers of the 95th Airborne Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were holed up, and Basovka. There is also an advance of our forces from Lebedivka. The soldiers are moving towards Cossack Loknya.
