Both successes came in the second half. Danny Armstrong opened the scoring for Dinamo, and Gicu Grozav equalized for Petrolul, taking advantage of an error by goalkeeper Devis Epassy.

Zeljko Kopic, after Dinamo – Petrolul 1-1: “Petrolul had nothing”

“We were good in the first 35 minutes, we pressed, we had the ball, and Petrol had nothing in that period. In the second half we made changes, we tried to break their defensive lines, we managed to score, and after that we tried to protect the score and we got the goal after Epassy's mistake. The reaction after 1-0 was not what I expected and we had to continue with the same spirit after scoring the goal. We were the better team and had more chances”.

The Croat also spoke about Devis Epassy's mistake, which came at 1-0 for Dinamo, costing the “dogs”, Petrol managing to equalize, and the red-and-whites missing the chance to climb back to the top of the Superliga:

“It's a mistake, but it's part of football. Epassy has experience, there are things he brought: confidence, personality. It's not easy for him or for us when we concede a goal like that, but so far he has brought positive things to the team. He is an important player for us. The team's performance was good most of the time.”

Kopic also spoke about possible moves in the next period: “We are having discussions”

“About new players we still have discussions for one or two positions. About Perica we have our discussions and we will know more in the next few days. He is still our player, he has some options, but we will see what happens.”

Finally, Kopic also explained Sivis' change:

Sivis felt something at the end of the first half and we wanted to protect him, not risk anything. I hope it's not something serious.”
