Bosnian footballer Miralem Pjanic, who played for Roma and Juventus, flew to Russia to sign a contract with CSKA
The 34-year-old Bosnian will sign a contract with the army club under the “1+1” scheme and will earn just under 800,000 euros per year. The contract provides bonuses for goals (7,000 euros per goal), assists, as well as victory in the Russian championship and cup.
Initially, he asked the club for a salary of 2 million euros per year, but in the end he reduced his demands by more than 2 times.
In 2022, Pjanic became one of the Bosnian national team players who spoke out against playing with the Russian national team. He stated that he had nothing against Russian football players, but at the same time he was not ready to take responsibility and go against the decisions of FIFA and UEFA.
