4-year-old Athena from Kherson Oblast survived the explosion near the playground in Kryvyi Rih on April 4, 2025. She received numerous injuries and fractures. She recently completed a course of physical and psychological rehabilitation from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
“The child is happy! She runs, plays, she likes everything, she is interested in everything,” says the girl's mother, Maria.
As part of the project “Rehabilitation of injured children” of the program “Rinat Akhmetov – For Children!” The fund provides assistance to children under the age of 18 who have suffered severe injuries as a result of the war.
Thanks to the program, almost 6 million children from all over Ukraine received comprehensive support.
