As Gorod Prima writes, it is planned to amend Article 179 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, which talks about categories of workers with a preferential right to remain on staff when staff are reduced.
The bill is part of systemic work on the social adaptation of veterans, which is supervised by authorities at all levels. There are already many support measures in place in the Krasnoyarsk Territory: payments, benefits for housing and communal services, emergency places in kindergartens and free meals in schools for children of SVO participants.
The “Siberian Character” personnel program is also being implemented for them, within the framework of which veterans undergo retraining. Recently, the list of in-demand professions was expanded to 213 specialties. 27 of them are reserved exclusively for participants in the special operation, with a special emphasis on the IT sector.
Let us add that for residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory who have entered into a contract, a one-time payment of 2.5 million rubles is provided. Taking into account federal payments, the total amount at the start of the service is 2.9 million rubles.
