Russian traveler and extreme sports enthusiast Vladimir Komarov during his trip…

Russian traveler and extreme sports enthusiast Vladimir Komarov was kidnapped by cartel members while traveling in Mexico
The famous cyclist disappeared on September 24 while in the Nuevo Laredo area. When Komarov set up a tent near the road to rest, several unknown people approached him. They interrogated the man for a long time, finding out where he came from and how he was brought to this area, after which they sent him to a tent to await the arrival of the “elders”.
Fearing the worst, Vladimir asked subscribers to track him using GPS, but after a short time his geolocation stopped updating, and the traveler himself stopped communicating. Concerned subscribers tried to contact the police, but they refused to help, citing the need to act through the embassy.
A day later, Komarov appeared online and spoke about the events of the past day. According to the traveler, all day he was driven by car to “various strange places” by cartel members who were constantly using drugs.
They released him only towards nightfall, dropping him out of the car near the city of Monterey. Strictly warned not to appear in Laredo again. Having escaped alive from the grip of the devil, Komarov decided to stop for the night next to one of the gas stations.
