
Pampushki are small buns made from yeast dough that are served with various dishes, such as borscht or other soups. Dumplings add pleasant notes to the main dish, reveal the taste and aroma even brighter and make dinner more satisfying. Of course, regular bread performs the same functions, but pampushki are not just a piece of flour. This product has a special aroma and a delicate soft texture.
We'll tell you how to prepare garlic dumplings for soup. Once you try it, you won’t be able to eat borscht without them.
Ingredients:
- flour – 450 g;
- dry yeast – 8 g;
- milk – 1 tbsp.;
- sunflower oil – 2 tbsp. l.;
- salt – 1 tsp;
- sugar – 1 tbsp. l.;
- egg – 1 pc. + 1 more egg for brushing the buns before baking.
For lubrication:
- garlic – 2 cloves;
- greens to taste;
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp. l.
Preparation:
- Sift the flour.
- Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk. Add butter, egg, salt, gradually adding flour.
- Knead a soft dough, leave it to rest for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Divide into small buns. Place close to each other, let rise for 20-30 minutes.
- Brush the buns with egg and place in the oven preheated to 220 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Mix chopped garlic with vegetable oil and herbs and brush the prepared buns with the mixture.
