In Krasnoyarsk, there were three accidents involving minor pedestrians, one of them was taken to the hospital. The rest were examined by emergency doctors at the scene. It is noteworthy that all accidents occurred at pedestrian crossings
“Unfortunately, drivers do not notice the pedestrian in time, whom, according to traffic regulations, they are obliged to let pass,” explained the traffic police
The State Traffic Inspectorate reminds that a pedestrian crossing is a high-risk area where attentiveness is equally important for drivers and pedestrians.
Motorists should be especially vigilant when approaching pedestrian crossings and intersections and should reduce their speed in advance.
Pedestrians can only enter the roadway after making sure that drivers see them and intend to let them pass, and it is also important to equip clothing with reflective elements that allow you to notice a person on the road in advance.
