Many people notice that by the end of the day their legs feel like they are filled with lead, their calves are tense, and their ankles are slightly swollen. This is not varicose veins or age, but simply the muscles and lymph in the legs are tired from immobility, especially during sedentary work or long walking. But you don't need to wear compression stockings or get expensive massages. A short morning ritual is enough, which will take less time than getting ready for work.
1. Recumbent bike
Lie on your back, arms along your body. Raise your legs at an angle of 45 degrees and begin to pedal slowly, first forward, then backward. Move smoothly, without jerking. Do 1 minute. This starts blood circulation and “pumps” lymph from the feet to the thighs.
2. Rolling from foot to heel
Stand straight with your feet shoulder-width apart. Slowly shift your weight from heel to toe and back, as if riding waves. Keep your back straight, don't slouch. Do it for 2 minutes. This activates the calf muscles, the main pump for venous outflow.
Do this complex every morning. After just 3-4 days you will notice: your legs stop “humming” in the evening, and your movements become easy.
