Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski stayed on the International Space Station (ISS) at the turn of June and July 2025 as part of the Ax-4 mission. The mission began on June 25, when the Pole and the remaining members of the Ax-4 crew took off on board the Falcon 9 rocket. The Crew Dragon “Grace” capsule reached the ISS over a day later.

Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla was appreciated in his country. As reported by the Hindustan Times, Shukla received the Ashok Chakra, India's highest peacetime military medal. The distinction was awarded to him for his contribution to the space program through his journey and stay on the International Space Station. He is the first Indian astronaut to set foot on the ISS. “As a fighter pilot, Shukla has an impressive flight experience of 2,000 hours in various types of aircraft including Su-30 MKI, MiG-21, MiG-29, Jaguar, Hawk, Dornier and An-32,” Hindustan Times said.
The medal was awarded on the eve of the 77th Republic Day, which falls on January 26. While wishing the nation on the occasion, Shukla said that “the goal of a developed India by 2047 can be achieved only when every citizen takes it as his responsibility and takes steps to contribute to the development of the country.” – This is not just my journey, it is India's journey together – he emphasized in an interview for DDNewslive.
