A Russian woman, knocked off a cliff by a wave, died a few days before her wedding. She and her groom had already taken part in a pre-holiday photo shoot and were preparing for the ceremony on Koh Samui.
Camilla, a 24-year-old model from Novosibirsk, came to Thailand with her future husband to have the wedding of her dreams on the ocean coast and spend a honeymoon. On the day of the tragedy, she decided on the main issues regarding the upcoming celebration and went to her favorite place on the island – the Lad Ko Viewpoint – to meditate alone. A few minutes later the girl was knocked off the cliff by a wave and drowned. The rescuers were unable to help – all their equipment was hidden from the storm in the hangar.
Camilla's fiancé is 47-year-old Gregory. He learned about the death of his bride from the news and immediately went to the scene. By this time, the girl’s body had already been pulled out of the water by employees of a nearby hotel.
