Bloody night in Bosnia! Serbs and Croats got into a fight after the match in Europe, 23 injured

A violent incident took place on the night of January 24, 2026, near Tuzla International Airport (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Members of the Delije and Torcida supporter groups, fans of the teams Red Star Belgrade and Hajduk Splitthey fought near the exit gate, according to the publication Avaz.ba, quoted by sportal.blic.rs.

Several police crews, rapid intervention teams, and ambulances intervened on the scene.

The conflict took place in the context in which the Serbian supporters were returning from Sweden. On Thursday, Red Star beat Malmo 1-0 in the main group of the Europa League, and the fans had a stopover in Bosnia.

The ultras group Torcida (Hajduk Split) would have known the route of those from Delije in Bosnia in advance.

Numerous video recordings of the incident are circulating on social media. A clip captured by the surveillance cameras on the street where the fight took place also appeared in the public space.

The Serbs write that around 100 Croatian fans were involved in the confrontation, being equipped with clubs and metal bars. On the other side were approximately 80 members of Delije from Serbia.

According to preliminary data, 23 people were injured in the confrontation, including a policeman.

Following the incidents, Hajduk fans also cursed the Serbs during the Hajduk Split – Istra match, which the Split team lost 1-2 on Sunday. Croatian fans displayed offensive messages towards Red Star Belgrade.
