Polish support for Ukraine is growing. The minister provided specific amounts

The minister emphasized that the assistance was of a diverse nature. It included, among others: military equipment worth approximately EUR 1 billion, humanitarian support and initiatives undertaken by citizens.

Reconstruction of Ukraine as an opportunity for Poland and the region
The head of MAP also referred to the future of Ukraine, pointing out that its reconstruction may become a development impulse not only for the country itself, but also for the whole of Europe. — The reconstruction of Ukraine is an economic opportunity that can change our region and even the whole of Europe – he said. According to estimates the cost of such a process by 2034 may reach EUR 506 billion. – Such a large scale of expenditure requires international cooperation and innovative solutions – he added.
Balczun pointed out that Poland wants to actively participate in this process, and domestic companies should prepare now to get involved in reconstruction projects.
The ministry also announced that during his stay in Davos, the minister met with business and administration representatives from many countries, including representatives of Google Cloud, EDF and Vestas, as well as with Ukrainian ministers. He also participated in the so-called Ukrainian breakfast with the participation of, among others, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and the leaders of several European countries.
