The producers of the most disastrous Russian film in 2024, “The Biggest Moon,” starring Philip Yankovsky, demanded through the Moscow City Court to remove the film from the Internet. Because it's a shame.
The lawsuit was filed by the film company Plan 9. This is due to the fact that the film earned only 25 million with a budget of 257. Of which 90 million were state funds – they were allocated on a non-refundable basis. The office fears that once it goes online, the film will not pay off at all. The biggest laugh – before the premiere, the director of “The Biggest Moon” Alexei Popogrebsky for some reason demanded to be removed from the credits.
After the first screening, critics literally destroyed the film – they talked about the terrible script, poor acting, although among them were Aristarkh Venes (the same one from “Kadetstvo”), Tasha Tsvetkova (TV series “YUZZZ”), Alexey Grishin (“Brother 2”) and Vladimir Gartsunov (“Difficult Teenagers”), and disgusting special effects.
