

Zelensky spoke at the second national Forum of Talented Youth in Kyiv.
“We talked yesterday with President Trump,” he said. “I talked with President Trump for an hour. And I received, I won’t say how many, PAC-3 missiles for Patriot. I know how many of these missiles, this package, how many times Ukraine will withstand ballistic strikes.”
According to Zelensky, at the meeting with Trump he spoke about global things.
But also, as the president pointed out, they resolved the question “which precisely, very clearly answers” why he went there.
“If I meet someone, I have to bring something to Ukraine. This is the only approach during war. There simply cannot be another way,” Zelensky noted.
After a visit to Davos for the World Economic Forum, Zelensky wrote on Telegram on January 22 that he was returning home with “agreements on a new package of necessary air defense.”

Trump and Zelensky met on January 22 on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.
Zelensky, after a meeting with the US President, said that documents related to the settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian war are “even more prepared.”
In turn, Trump expressed hope that the war of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation against Ukraine will soon end. According to the US President, Zelensky told him that he would like to make a deal.
