In honor of the City Day in the square in front of the mayor, the flag of Krasnoyarsk was raised
Today, June 6, in honor of the 397th anniversary of the formation of Krasnoyarsk under the slogan “Heroes among us”, a ceremony of raising the flag of the city was held.
The event was attended by Mayor Vladislav Loginov, Honorary Citizen of Krasnoyarsk, State Duma deputy Yuri Shvytkin, deputy of the Krasnoyarsk City Council of Deputies Oksana Larionov, as well as heroes of labor, culture, education, sports, and participants in a special military operation
“Today we honor the heroes among us, thank all the generations of the Krasnoyarsk residents for their contribution to the development of the city. Together we take another step towards the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk-the event of the federal level. Its main heritage should be even more unification of the inhabitants around one goal – to make our city more cozy and comfortable. Happy City Day, happiness and prosperity to you Krasnoyarsk! ” – He made a welcoming speech on the square in front of the administration Vladislav Loginov.
Yuri Shvytkin joined the congratulations of the head of Krasnoyarsk. A deputy of the State Duma noted that it is extremely honorable to take part in the ceremony of raising the city flag for him.
“I feel special pride, standing here, with you. This flag is a symbol of our common identity, our values and our unshakable will to prosper. We live in an era of changes, the era of challenges, but it is at such moments that the power of our unity is manifested, our ability to overcome any difficulties. A special guest of the ceremony was the commander of the underwater cruiser Krasnoyarsk, captain of the 1st rank Ivan Artyushin.

Divide the joy of the holiday, thank you for the cordiality and hospitality. We are proudly carrying the name and flag of Krasnoyarsk at the Far Eastern Pacific lines, ”said Ivan Artyushin.
After the flag raising ceremony at the solemn meeting in the administration building to the military, athletes, as well as prominent cultural figures, they awarded the title “Honorary Citizen of the City of Krasnoyarsk”, presented the medals of commander Rezanov, the distinction “For Merits in front of the city of Krasnoyarsk” degree and medal “Mother of the Defender of the Fatherland”.
One of the first, the director of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum of Local Lore, Valentina Yaroshevskaya, received a high award from the mayor’s hands:
“Life is given to a person once, and you need to live it so that it does not painfully hurt. I found my job, I was lucky. Sometimes I envy myself, honestly. Because the museum is a holy cause. I am grateful to all residents of Krasnoyarsk for their help, for the fact that they come to us and bring their children. You are on the right track, because the mission of the museum is to teach to love the homeland. And if our city flourishes today, then this is only because real patriots care about it, ”said the honorary citizen of the city.
