In Krasnoyarsk, police officers found a 14-year-old schoolboy who had disappeared from home the day before along with 3 million rubles.
The teenager was found in a rented apartment with a girl. Official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk said that law enforcement officers are currently taking measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
Let us remind you that the teenager disappeared on the evening of January 22. According to investigators, he left his home in the Serebryany Bor cottage village in an unknown direction with an unidentified person.
Late in the evening of the same day, the boy’s father received a message in the messenger about the kidnapping of his son with a ransom demand of 30 million rubles for his return, as well as a video message from the boy himself about the need to fulfill the ultimatum.
Investigators opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime provided for in paragraphs. “a”, “e”, “h” part 2 art. 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (kidnapping of a minor committed by a group of persons for mercenary reasons).
They also explored the theory that the teenager was acting under the influence of scammers.
