Pork was found in halal dumplings in Omsk. The semi-finished products “Creamy Babies” and “Muslim” contain boar DNA and soybean DNA – none of this, of course, is stated in the ingredients.
The local Rosselkhoznadzor became interested in three organizations: LLC Food Trading, IP Divenko and IP Trofimova. They turned out to be malicious violators – the enterprises did not comply with the temperature regime, there was chaos with documents and declarations. Four tons of butter and 300 kg of semi-finished products were recognized as low-quality and dangerous products. A lot of vegetable fats were found in the oil – campesterol, stigmasterol and β-sitosterol, which were not declared in the composition; in the meat of the halal dumplings – traces of pork and soy. An entire warehouse of food was sent for disposal.
Investigators had already been caught for violations, they promised to improve, but continued to do business as usual. Now all three are under administration and will pay a fine of 216k between the three of them.
