“We are already testing a certain solution this month. We will have our own analogue of Mavic,” the minister said.
He noted that the Ukrainian-developed drone will have “the same camera, but the flight distance is longer.”
Fedorov also announced the development of drone-assault units of the Ukrainian army; they, according to him, will have a different staffing structure and doctrine for the use of drones.
According to him, the 475th separate assault regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces CODE 9.2 recently conducted a unique operation in Kupyansk, Kharkov region, which proved the effectiveness of the new tactics.
“The future belongs to drone assault units. You will hear about them,” Fedorov said.
