Two Superliga defenders break all patterns! Here's why

Mario Tudose from FC Argeș and the Israeli Nikita Stoinov, his Israeli stopper Dinamoare performers in a chapter not to be neglected. Neither has seen the yellow card during the season, although they play in a position that makes them vulnerable. The defender of Pitesti played in all the matches this season, Stoinov entered the first “11” in the fourth stage and has not left the starting line-up since then.
The 2025-2026 edition is barely over halfway through, but there are two names that can already be awarded. It's about two centre-backs, both highly rated, of similar ages, playing for top-flight teams. who are they Mario Tudose and Nikita Stoinov, indisputable starters at FC Argeș and Dinamo, respectively.
Immune to “yellow”
Why are their performances worth highlighting? Because they “sneaked” to the 23rd stage without being warned even once by the referees. Relative to the matches played and how exposed they are by the nature of the positions, their achievement is truly impressive.
In the first season of his career in the first league, Mario Tudose, 21 years old, played in all 22 stages played so far. He was an integralist in the vast majority of cases, rarely being replaced by Bogdan Andone.
The solid performances of the defender trained at Benfica Lisbon have propelled him to the attention of the giants, and his market share has already reached 1 million euros. On top of that, he plays in the Romanian U21 national team.
Tudose's discipline speaks for itself: he has not seen a single “yellow” in 23 matches! In comparison, the colleague in the center of the defense, the Kosovar Sadriu, has already been suspended twice for the accumulation of yellow cards.

And Stoinov excels
Nikita Stoinov from Dinamo also shows extraordinary rigor. The 20-year-old Israeli has not been warned so far either.
He scored the first match for the “dogs” in the fourth stage, and since then he has appeared continuously in Kopic's team. In comparison, teammate Boateng saw four “yellows” during the championship.
As in the case of Tudose, Stoinov has also been assigned a round market share: the youth international from Israel is worth one million euros, and an offer from abroad could come anytime next summer, people from the club estimate.

White ball for Hegedus as well
Another top-flight stopper has reached this point of the season without being cautioned. Csikszereda's Janos Hegedus avoided bookings in his 17 league appearances. In October, Daniel Pancu praised the Hungarian stopper in an intervention at GSP Live.
Hegedus has not caught Ilyes' lot since November 28. The comparison with Stoinov and Tudose is valid up to a point, taking into account the not advantageous situation that Csikszereda is going through in the ranking.
Screciu from Olt is also great in this chapter, 18 appearances and only one “yellow” during the season. Of these, a few parties are checked from the reserve position.
