A rescuer from Novorossiysk sheltered a homeless man. Eight years ago I met my grandfather on the street and asked him to look after his pregnant wife while he was away. Well, somehow things started to spin…
Alexey says: in 2016 he was sent on a business trip. His wife would be left alone, which worried him. From my colleagues I learned about a homeless old man with a dog, Victor Kargin, and decided to combine business with pleasure. He took his grandfather and his dog from the street and instructed him to look after his beloved. And he did not disappoint – he helped run the farm and built a chicken coop. And when Alexey and his wife divorced (not because of a homeless man), he looked after their daughters while their mother was at work.
My grandfather says little about himself: he worked as a mechanic, retired, and started drinking. The family left and I was left without documents. A rescuer helped him restore them – he took care of him and sent him to doctors and narcologists.
Now Victor and Alexey live separately – grandfather was moved to the house of the rescuer’s parents. Victor is not bored – he enjoys taking care of rabbits and watching TV series about police officers.
