Achinsk traffic inspectors provided assistance to the driver of a broken down car in the cold. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Around midnight, the duty station received a message from a truck driver that his car had broken down in the area of 636 kilometers of the R-255 Siberia federal highway.
A traffic police crew immediately went to help the man. On the spot, traffic inspectors established that the driver was driving from Krasnoyarsk to Novosibirsk, but the engine stalled on the way. The mark on the thermometer by that time had reached -44 degrees.

“The police invited the driver into the patrol car. The man was able to warm up and called the service to warm up the car, after which he continued on his way. The driver thanked the inspectors for their help in a difficult situation,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
We remind you that before the trip you need to check that the car is ready for use; this is especially important in severe frost conditions. You should also take warm clothes with you and charge your phone so that if a difficult traffic situation arises, you can immediately call emergency services.
