After New Year's feasts, many feel heaviness in the stomach, bloating and general lethargy. These are not gained kilograms, but an overloaded intestine that lacks fiber and movement. But you don't need to go on a diet or take laxatives. One simple morning ritual is enough to gently start the gastrointestinal tract and restore lightness by lunchtime.
Do this:
- In the morning, immediately after waking up, before eating and drinking coffee, take a glass of warm water (not hot!).
- Add one teaspoon of flaxseed. You can grind it in a coffee grinder in advance.
- Stir well and drink in small sips.
- Wait 20-30 minutes, then eat breakfast as usual.
Flax is a natural source of soluble fiber and omega-3. It gently coats the intestines, binds toxins and stimulates peristalsis without irritation. Within two to three days you will notice that your stomach has become softer and your energy is higher.
This method is safe even for sensitive stomachs. The main thing is to drink enough water throughout the day so that fiber works properly.
Use this life hack three to four times a week throughout January, and by February you will feel your body waking up after the holidays.
Enjoy!
