Heads of ethnic diasporas involved in organizing illegal migration were detained in Irkutsk
According to investigators, the chairman of the Uzbek national center and the deputy chairman of the Tajik diaspora, together with the center for additional education, issued certificates of proficiency in the Russian language, knowledge of history and the fundamentals of Russian legislation for money.
This was done for their further submission to the migration authorities. However, most foreigners did not have such knowledge.
The defendants took 8 thousand rubles from each foreign specialist, and the total income from criminal activities amounted to more than 1.5 million rubles.
