A 41-year-old repeat offender entered the territory of a pensioner’s private home. Using an ax found in the doghouse, he broke the lock on the door and stole components from the cast-iron stove.
After this, the attacker went to the barn, from where he took six bags of cabbage, containing 64 heads of cabbage. The amount of damage amounted to about 17,000 rubles.
The man took the stolen metal to a metal collection point and sold the cabbage to a passerby. He spent the proceeds of 1,500 rubles on groceries. As a result, he was detained and sentenced to 4 years in prison.
