Accident caused in the Capital by a young man who did not have a license, was drunk, and the car was stolen

A 25-year-old man caused a road accident on a street in Sector 2 of the Capital, and the police discovered that he did not have a driver's license, had consumed alcohol, and the car was stolen.
According to a press release from the Traffic Police, quoted by Agerpres, on Thursday night, at around 00:05, the Bucharest Traffic Brigade was alerted by calling 112 regarding the occurrence of a traffic accident on the Electronic Highway in Sector 2 of the Capital.
The traffic police arrived at the scene and found that what was reported was confirmed, as it was a traffic accident that resulted exclusively in material damage.
The 25-year-old driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the indicated result being 0.87 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air. He was taken to the INML headquarters, in order to take biological samples. According to the toxicological analysis bulletin, an alcohol absorption of 1.88 g/l pure alcohol in the blood resulted.
Following the checks, the police found that the young man did not have a driver's license for any vehicle category.
Later, a complaint was registered at the 28th Police Department for the theft of the car driven by the 25-year-old man.
Consequently, the police detained the respective young man for 24 hours, for committing the crimes of driving a vehicle without a driver's license, driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and theft for use.
A magistrate issued a preventive arrest warrant on his name on Friday, for 30 days.
