Charalampos Kyriakou has played almost his entire career for Apollon Limassol, the team he trained with as a junior, and now he has agreed with one of its rivals in the domestic championship.

“AEK Larnaca announce an agreement in principle with Cypriot international midfielder Charalampos Kyriakou for the next two and a half years. The footballer is expected in Cyprus to complete the transfer.
Charalampos Kyriakou played in Romania for Dinamo (21 appearances) in the first half of the season. Before that he played for Apollon for 13 years (322 games, 9 goals), with a one-season break when he played for Estoril in Portugal (20 appearances, 2 goals).
He played 74 matches for the Cyprus national team and in all junior national teams,” the club announced on its official website.
Charalampos Kyriakou arrived at Dinamo in the summer of 2025, after playing for Apollon Limassol for 13 years. The experience in Romania did not go according to plan, and today Kyriakou was released from his contract by Dynamo. He ticked off 21 matches and 3 decisive assists in the shirt of the “dogs” this season
