The slab after cleaning is perfectly smooth: no scratches, no plaque, no chemical smell

Everyone knows that over time, traces remain on a glass-ceramic or glossy stove: splashes of oil, burnt drops of sauce, white stains from water. Not only do they spoil the appearance, but they also become more and more difficult to clean every day. At the same time, aggressive cleaning agents scratch the surface, and their smell does not disappear for a long time. There is a simple way to return the slab to its original shine. All you need are two ingredients that are found in almost every home.

What you will need:

Baking soda – 3 tbsp. spoons
Vegetable oil – 1 tbsp. spoon
Water – a little for pasta

How to do:

  • Mix baking soda and oil to a thick paste. If the mixture is too dry, add a couple drops of water.
  • Apply the paste to dirty areas of the stove, especially dark spots and grease deposits.
  • Leave for 20-30 minutes. During this time, the soda will soften the burn, and the oil will dissolve the fat.
  • Rub gently with a soft sponge or cloth. Do not use steel wool, they leave scratches.
  • Wipe the surface with a damp cloth, then dry it to avoid streaks.

Baking soda works as a mild abrasive, and oil acts as a natural grease solvent. Together they remove even old stains without damaging the glossy surface or leaving a chemical odor.

The same method works for glass pan lids, glass baking trays, and even the inside of a microwave.

Question and answer:

What to do if the stains are very old?
Leave the paste for 40-60 minutes, covering the top with a damp cloth. This will enhance the effect.

Can this method be used on a glossy slab?
Yes, if you don't scrub with steel wool. The paste is soft and does not scratch if you use a cloth or sponge.

How to clean a glass-ceramic stove without chemicals?
Mix baking soda and vegetable oil into a paste, apply to the stains, leave for 30 minutes and scrub gently with a soft sponge.
