At Rapid, Sălceanu will compete for the position with Andrei Borza (20 years old) and Robert Bădescu (20 years old).
The former Petrolul footballer played 16 matches this season for Petrolul, during which he scored a goal and provided a decisive assist.
Robert Sălceanu made his debut at Dunărea Călărăsi in League 2, in the 2020-2021 season, and from the beginning of 2022, the left defender arrived at Gloria Buzău, where he performed until the end of the previous season.

FC Petrolul Ploiești has reached an agreement with the Rapid Bucharest group, regarding the transfer of the player Robert Sălceanu.
The young footballer came to Ploiești in August, quickly establishing himself as the holder of the left defender position. Also meeting the criteria required for “under” players, Sălceanu ticked off 14 matches in the championship and two in the Romanian Cup, including the goal with which the “yellow-blues” got a point away from FCSB.Also this fall, he entered the circuit of the Romania “U21” representative team, being the starter in the match against Finland, in the preliminaries of the European Championship.
