ING Bank supports entrepreneurs in integration with KSeF

The National e-Invoice System will soon become a mandatory element of settlements for every company, regardless of its size. The change covers not only the method of issuing invoices, but also their receipt, archiving and settlement. In the new model, banks play an increasingly important role and, by integrating KSeF with electronic banking, support entrepreneurs in organizing their finances and automating everyday processes.

The National e-Invoice System will become a new reality for entrepreneurs in just a few weeks. All companies, even the smallest ones, will be included in it. The system will become the basic invoicing channel, changing the existing rules for documenting transactions and tax settlements.
KSeF will change the rules for issuing invoices
From the moment the KSeF enters into force, invoices issued by entrepreneurs (initially the largest ones, then also smaller ones) will have to be transferred to the system operated by the National Tax Administration. This means no more paper documents, invoices sent by e-mail in PDF files or manual corrections in Excel spreadsheets. The invoice will become a valid document when it is successfully sent to KSeF and assigned a system number.

The change applies not only to issuing but also receiving documents. Even the smallest, sole proprietorship companies will have to collect their contractors' invoices via KSeF from February 1, 2026. All you need is an invoice from the post office for stamps or fuel, and the entrepreneur will be obliged to collect it from KSeF. This makes access to the system and efficient handling of e-invoices an essential element of running virtually any business.
ING Bank supports integration with KSeF
To meet the needs of entrepreneurs, some banks decided to combine KSeF with electronic banking. It is in banking systems that entrepreneurs manage payments, control cash flows and settle liabilities on a daily basis. Combining invoice circulation with bank account management is intended to shorten processes, reduce errors and save time.
Banks are increasingly recognizing this role. An example is ING Bank Śląski, which has been developing accounting services integrated with online banking for years. As part of ING Księgyczne, entrepreneurs can now issue and process invoices in accordance with the KSeF standard. To perform integration, you must enter the appropriate KSeF token generated on the government website in the ING accounting system. Currently, the bank is developing a solution that allows integration with KSeF directly from the online banking level. It is addressed to all business clients, regardless of which financial and accounting system they use.

Thanks to the solutions offered by ING, users will be able not only to download invoices from KSeF, but also to automatically verify and pay them. This will connect the circulation of accounting documents with the payment process, eliminating manual data rewriting, reducing errors and saving the entrepreneur's time. ING focuses on security, convenience and real business support in digital transformation, so that KSeF becomes a tool that facilitates running a business, and not just another obligation. From invoice to payment – without manual rewriting
One of the biggest problems for companies today is the manual transcription of invoice data into accounting and banking systems. KSeF combined with electronic banking is intended to eliminate these problems. Automatic downloading of invoices from the system, their verification and quick payment order without rewriting amounts or account numbers is intended to significantly reduce the risk of errors and speed up settlements.
For entrepreneurs, this means not only saving time, but also better control over their finances. Invoices will be in one place, easily accessible, organized and safely stored. The problem of lost documents or the need to issue duplicates will disappear – everything will be in one system.
An opportune moment to gain an advantage
Although KSeF is sometimes perceived as a revolution imposed from above, in practice it can become an impulse to organize processes in companies. Entrepreneurs who prepare for changes early enough will gain an organizational advantage. Analyzing document flow, adapting systems and selecting appropriate tools – preferably integrated with banking – will allow you to enter a new reality without chaos.
This is where the role of banks is particularly important. By combining financial, accounting and technological services, they can act as a guide to KSeF, helping entrepreneurs go through the change process as simply and safely as possible.
The entry of banks into KSeF is good news for business. It means that banks want to support entrepreneurs in digitalization and facilitate the management of invoice circulation and payments. For those companies that are prepared and use the available tools, this can be a definitely positive change that will not only organize the issue of payments, but also save time and control the flow of money in the company.
