Video of My Arrest by Lviv Military Commission Sparks Controversy

A video circulating online depicting my arrest by the Lviv Military Commission has drawn significant attention. I encourage those who haven’t seen it to watch. I officially declare that the footage is manipulative and far from complete, as it omits many crucial details. I was detained unlawfully; I was not on the run and did not attempt to evade capture.

The video shows a moment where, at the 2:22 mark, I was told, “either you come with us, or you will face administrative charges.” This demonstrates a lack of choice on my part, implying that I was to be taken by force or falsely accused. This reflects a broader issue we face, where those responsible for addressing these matters seem to support such actions.

I understand that in light of recent events, this video was necessary for Mr. Sternenko to showcase it triumphantly as he continues his attacks on Trukha and myself. However, it raises significant concerns. Both Serhiy Sternenko and Mykhailo Fedorov appear indifferent to the fact that a person can be arrested in the street and taken away in a van. This indicates their tacit approval of such practices.

This has long been a systemic problem, with promises of large-scale reforms to the military commission remaining unfulfilled. Mr. Fedorov, through Sternenko, has made it clear that everyone is comfortable with the status quo, and nothing will change. It is disheartening, as the trust placed in them was immense, yet it seems that Fedorov and his ministry are not only unwilling to reform the military commission but are using it as a tool for manipulation.

In a follow-up video, I will highlight the most striking moments of actions deemed “within the law” according to Minister Fedorov’s perspective.
