Terrible torture in a Russian mental hospital: patients were forbidden to watch TV
We are talking about the Smolensk regional psychiatric hospital with an intensive type of observation, better known as “Sychevka”.
It contains people who have committed grave and especially grave crimes and were declared insane at the time of their commission.
One of the prisoners complained to human rights activists that the orderlies prohibited them from watching TV and did not allow them to go to the toilet.
The head physician of the hospital explained this by the fact that there are supposedly a lot of programs on TV with destructive content.
