The Polish President also referred to the events of September last year, when over 20 Russian drones violated Polish airspace from Belarus and Ukraine. He described the situation as “extraordinary”, emphasizing that no other NATO country had previously experienced a drone attack on such a scale. According to Nawrocki, in this way Russia is testing both Polish defense and the solidarity of the entire North Atlantic Alliance.

President Nawrocki also expressed gratitude to Great Britain for sending RAF Typhoon aircraft to support the protection of Polish borders after the drone incident. He recalled that since 2021, Poland has been in a state of hybrid war with Russia, facing not only drone attacks, but also widespread disinformation. He pointed out that The actions of the Russian “gray zone” are proof that “we live in dangerous times.”

In his opinion, Donald Trump's actions on behalf of Europeans “deserve support and great respect.”

Nawrocki also expressed concerns about the possible “separation” of Europe from the United States, emphasizing that such a scenario would serve neither the economic nor military security of the European Union. Referring to the issue of Greenland, the president stated that this issue should be resolved in dialogue between the Danish Prime Minister and the US President, as well as within NATO.
