No more boring rice: this crab salad “Hare's coat” will be the first to be swept off the table

Do you want to surprise your guests with an unusual but simple dish? Pay attention to the “Hare Fur Coat” salad – tender, juicy and incredibly tasty. The name is funny, but the impression is the most serious. It literally takes minutes to prepare and looks like you spent all day making it.

Ingredients (for 4–6 servings):

  • Crab sticks – 200 g
  • Tomatoes – 2 pcs. (medium, dense)
  • Bell pepper – 1 pc. (preferably red or yellow)
  • Hard cheese – 100 g
  • Eggs – 2 pcs.
  • Canned corn – 1 small jar (~150 g)
  • Garlic – 1-2 cloves
  • Mayonnaise – to taste

How to cook:

1. Prepare the ingredients: Boil the eggs hard-boiled, cool and grate on a fine grater.
2. Also grate the cheese on a fine grater.
3. Cut crab sticks, tomatoes and bell peppers into neat cubes.
4. Drain the corn.
5. Chop the garlic (you can pass it through a press).
6. Assemble the salad in layers in a salad bowl or on a platter:

  • 1st layer: crab sticks + light mayonnaise mesh;
  • 2nd layer: tomatoes (lightly squeeze out the juice so that the salad does not drip);
  • 3rd layer: bell pepper + corn + mayonnaise;
  • 4th layer: eggs mixed with garlic + mayonnaise.

7. Top layer – generously sprinkle with grated cheese and decorate with a thin mayonnaise mesh.
8. Let it brew in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes – this is enough for the layers to become saturated and the flavor to fully develop.
