The high-paying job search service SuperJob conducted a survey and found out what goals Krasnoyarsk residents set for themselves for 2026. Women prioritize sports, hobbies and self-development, while men prioritize personal life and communication with family.

This year, residents of the regional capital are putting health and family values at the forefront: 33% of respondents each plan to go in for sports and pay more attention to loved ones. 28% consider it necessary to improve their personal life. At the same time, every fourth person intends to devote more time to hobbies or education.

19% dream of reformatting their worldview, changing their food system, or moving, 17% promise to have more rest in the New Year, 14% want to complete renovations, 11% want to learn a foreign language, 9% want to give up bad habits, 7% want to change their circle of friends.

“Women, much more often than men, plan to devote more time to sports, hobbies, self-education and strive to reconsider their worldview. Men, on the other hand, are more focused on changes in their personal lives and more often plan to give up bad habits. It’s interesting that only 4% of women categorically do not want to change anything versus 8% of men,” the analysts said.

Young people under 35 lead the way in their desire to engage in sports (39%), education (31%) and foreign languages (17%). Respondents aged 35-45 more often than others want to pay attention to loved ones (35%), improve their personal life (33%) and relax more (25%). For citizens over 45 years of age, plans to take up hobbies (30%) and repairs (23%), as well as give up bad habits (16%) are more typical.

Educational level also influences priorities. Respondents with secondary vocational education choose sports, hobbies and education more often than holders of university diplomas. But city dwellers with higher education are much more likely to think about learning foreign languages and relaxing.

Among respondents with earnings of 150 thousand rubles per month, more are those who promise to pay attention to loved ones (39%) and learn to relax (24%). Respondents with incomes up to 80 thousand rubles, in turn, more often plan to change their worldview (24%) and study languages (16%).
