Cătălin Măruță's first reaction after PRO TV closed his show after 18 years. He announced what he will do: “Now I'm curious”
The television star spoke in the corporate release about his future after breaking up with PRO TV. He didn't mention anything about television, thanking his team and the audience.
PRO TV has decided to give up the show “La Măruță” after 18 years, as announced by PaginadeMedia, citing a press release from the television. The last show will be on February 6.
The TV channel's statement also shows the reaction of Cătălin Măruță, who also spoke about his future plans.
“There were 18 years in which La Măruţă was more than a show and became an important part of my life and, I am convinced, of the lives of many viewers as well. We grew up together, laughed, celebrated, learned and discovered the extraordinary stories of our guests. For me, this was a wonderful chapter, which will always keep a special place in my soul”, said Cătălin Măruţă, according to the PRO TV statement.
“Now I am curious and look forward to the next period with enthusiasm, going to devote my time to several projects in the online area and new formats that I wanted to develop. I am deeply grateful to the team and the public who have been with me every day of this journey and I thank them for every moment they shared with me”, said the presenter.
Who is Cătălin Măruță
Aged 48, born in Târgu-Jiu, Cătălin Măruță initially became known with the Trupa DP 2 show on TVR 2. He switched to Realitatea TV, and then moved to PRO TV. Cătălin Măruță is married to the singer Andra, with whom he has two children.
