Cristiano Bergodi, 61 years old, drew the line after the training camp of the “red caps” in Antalya, which ended today with a draw against the Poles from Widzew Lodz, score 1-1. The Italian considers the three training games beneficial and declares himself satisfied with the way his students prepared during the ten days in Turkey. The only big minus is the injury of Jovo Lukić, the top scorer of the “students” and the championship, with 11 goals, tied with Alex Dobre.
The technician prefaced the match with Dinamo and also addressed the popular topic among the Romanian teams training in Turkey: the difference in temperature and weather conditions. If the Transylvanian friendly today was played at around 16 degrees Celsius, frost, snow and frozen fields await them in the country. He believes that the Superliga starts too early.

“The training was good, a “good” game, let's say that. We finished the training camp. Unfortunately, it's the problem with Lukic. In general, I'm satisfied with how the boys trained, we also looked good in these three games, even though I didn't win any of them.
With Dinamo it will be very, very difficult. They have a good team with a very good dynamic. We've seen them, they've seen us, it's going to be a difficult game and it's the start of a very tough schedule: there are nine games left, with five away, all with play-off teams. I don't think Lukic will miss many matches, we have to see what he has with the doctor.
We're not looking for a striker, we haven't discussed that yet. I don't think we need anything else. I am happy with this group of players, we have reached a level close to the play-offs. We still have nine games, a very difficult schedule for us and easier for other teams. We're trying to reach the play-offs, but I'm happy with the group I have now,” said Bergodi, after the last training match in Antalya.

Then he expressed his displeasure: “Tomorrow we are going to Sibiu. We have three or four days of training in the country, but there is a problem: in Romania it is terribly cold, there is snow, the fields are frozen. With all due respect, it seems too soon to start the return on January 16th.
There are many matches, that's the format of the championship, but on the 16th, 18th, when we start, it's very difficult: we can only train on synthetic, but even that is frozen. It's not easy. I'm a little worried about the weather, but all the teams have problems, but God forbid we are not looking for an alibi”.
VIDEO. Ovidiu Bic: “We tried to be as well prepared as possible for the match with Dinamo”
Ovidiu Bic scored today for Transylvania, from a penalty scored by Drammeh, at the end of the match, then summarized the days of preparation, setting a clear goal for the rest of the season: play-offs. In the short term, victory with Dinamo, in the game on January 18.
It was a tough training camp. We tried to prepare well, to prepare the first stage of the championship. Today was a useful test, against an aggressive team. We are going to -10 degrees, we have to prepare for low temperatures and give our best. In these ten days we tried to be as well prepared as possible for the match with Dinamo.
I don't think it was appropriate to postpone the championship. Terens are mostly OK and definitely playable. It doesn't matter who we play; we have tough matches, especially away from home. We are only thinking about the match against Dinamo, to play a good match and get a point or points.
I don't know if we have the hardest schedule. We have more accessible matches at home, travel is more complicated. However, we are the best away team. Lukic is our main scorer, it is clear that his absence is a minus for us. We hope he recovers as soon as possible, because we really need him.
It's good that many teams are fighting for the play-offs, there is combativeness and that's a good thing for the championship. I would like the best teams to be in the play-offs, to have many beautiful matches and derbies, for people to enjoy them.
We are not sure about qualifying for the play-offs. We have a lot of work to do, we have to win games and fight there.
– said Ovidiu Bic, the midfielder from Cluj University
