Marcus Rashford (28 years old), the footballer on loan from Barcelona from Manchester United until the end of the current season, he has already convinced coach Hansi Flick (60 years old), and the Spanish champion intends to permanently transfer the English international in the summer.

Spurned at Manchester United by Ruben Amorim, Marcus Rashford left the Premier League earlier this season to sign for Barcelona, and his solid performances for the Blaugrana have brought the Englishman back into the national team, coached by Thomas Tuchel.
What's more, according to Spanish journalists from ASit seems that Hansi Flick is also extremely happy with Rashford's performances, and therefore the Catalan club are planning to make a permanent move for the 28-year-old striker this summer.
Barcelona wants Rashford to continue at Camp Nou!
At the moment, the English footballer plays for Barcelona on loan from Manchester United, but the agreement between the two clubs includes a clause by which the Blaugrana team can buy the player definitively at the end of the 2025/2026 season, in exchange for the sum of 30 million euros.
However, it seems that the officials of the Camp Nou formation show no signs of hesitation. Both those from AS and the famous Fabrizio Romano have announced that the Barcelona bosses have already contacted the player's agents, informing them that they want Rashford to continue with the Blaugrana team after the end of the current season.
Also, the Spanish publication stated that the technician Hansi Flick had an important role in this decision, who declared himself deeply satisfied with Rashford's developments in the first part of the current season.
Since signing with Barcelona to date, the English footballer has made 26 appearances in all competitions for the champions and current La Liga leaders, scoring 7 goals and providing 11 assists.

In addition, an extremely good relationship seems to have been established between the club and the player, as Rashford has repeatedly stated that his desire is to continue at Camp Nou.
“I want to stay at Barca. It's my goal, but that's not why I train hard and give it my all… What I want most is to win titles“, Rashford confessed two weeks ago, quoted by the international press.
